Influencer Policy

This influencer Policy sets forth Tableh’s guidelines and expectations for Influencers when promoting campaigns to their followers:
  • You must be at least 18 years of age;
  • Your profile must be publicly accessible to remain in good standing with Tableh;
  • Products gifted to you are for your personal use. You may sell them or use them in unauthorized giveaways. You may give them to someone else, but not until you’ve teste them and submitted your post.
  • Mention and tag @insertbrandname;
  • Utilize hashtag #insertbrandname;
  • Make sure brand and product names are utilized and spelled correctly;
  • Content must remain up and publicly accessible for at least 30 days;
  • Clearly say that you were compensated or that you have a relationship with the brand. Don’t assume your followers already know about your brand relationships;
  • Make disclosures even if you think your evaluations are unbiased;
  • The disclosure should be placed with the endorsement message itself;
  • You can’t create the impression that you got less compensation than you actually did;
  • You must provide disclosure for each endorsement;
  • Don’t hide the disclosure; you can’t make people scroll or click to see it;
  • The disclosure must be prominent and clear: a noticeable display of ‘sponsored,’ ‘promotion,’ or ‘paid ad.’
  • If endorsement is in a picture on a platform like Snapchat and Instagram Stories, superimpose the disclosure over the picture and make sure viewers have enough time to notice and read it;
  • If making an endorsement in a video, the disclosure should be in the video and not just in the description uploaded with the video. Viewers are more likely to notice disclosures made in both audio and video. Some viewers may watch without sound and others may notice superimposed words.
  • If making an endorsement in a live stream, the disclosure should be repeated periodically so viewers who only see part of the stream will get the disclosure.
  • Use simple and clear language;
  • Don’t use vague or confusing terms like “sp,” “Spon,” or “collab,” or stand-alone terms like “thanks” or “ambassador,” and stay away from other abbreviations and shorthand when possible.
  • The disclosure should be in the same language as the endorsement itself;
  • Tableh prohibits content that causes or has the potential to cause misinformed purchasing decisions. Deceptive practices are practices which involve a material representation, omission or practice that are likely to mislead a consumer into making a purchasing decision that they would not have made otherwise.
  • The endorsements must be honest and not misleading. If you have not tried the product, you cannot provide an endorsement saying that you did. Before taking the decision of endorsing a particular product, it is very important for the social media influencer to perform due diligence and check the quality, quantity, and authenticity of the product.
  • You can’t make up claims about a product that would require proof the advertiser doesn’t have–such as a scientific proof that a product can treat a health condition;
  • For a product that affects the health of the public at large, it is advisable to check the claims being made and whether they are backed with scientific evidence or not.
  • Always ensure that the advertisement or endorsement does not violate any legal provisions.
  • You retain full ownership of content created for the purpose of fulfilling campaign requirements. Brands are not allowed to share your content on their social channels or website.
Repercussions for Identified Influencer Endorsement Violations

Should Tableh identify any social media posts which violate the Influencer Policy, Tableh will take appropriate action against the Influencer based on the nature and extent of the identified violation. Repercussions for violation of the Influencer Policy may include, but are not limited to a request for immediate removal of the post from all social media platforms; a post or statement to the Influencer’s followers which corrects the identified violation; suspension of influencer account; training and/or re-training on compliance with Tableh’s Influencer Policy; and/or termination of the Influencer’s contract with Tableh.

Reasons For Removal From the Network
    • Failure to fulfill posting requirements;
    • Making a profile private or deleting content before the 30 day timeframe;
    • Selling gifted products on sites like Amazon, eBay and Alibaba.

Advertisers must not engage influencers directly or indirectly outside the Tableh platform. Doing so will result in suspension of account, termination of account or legal action.

Monitoring Compliance Of Influencer Policy

Tableh will monitor the influencer’s endorsement efforts to ensure that the Influencer makes appropriate disclosures of any material connection(s) with our brand and reflect their honest opinion, finding, belief and experience with the endorsed product/service. Tableh will also review the Influencers social media endorsements to ensure that they incorporate any required promotional language, hashtags or emotions related to the endorsed product/service, in any, set forth in the Influencer Policy.
